        South Bend Transportation Corporation to enter negotiations in Northside property sale

        The South Bend Public Transportation Corporation announced that the have selected a proposal for the sale of their Northside Property Tuesday. The Transportation Corporation board of directors voted unanimously to enter negotiations with Century Builders for the sale of the 901 E. Northside Blvd property, according to a press release.         Commuters in Elkhart and Goshen will have to find alternative ways to get to where they are going Labor Day if they are used to using the Interurban Trolley.         UPDATE: Elkhart Police have taken the 2-year-old boy who was sent to the emergency room with suspicious injuries into protective custody, according to a press release by the Elkhart Police. The Elkhart Police said the boy remains hospitalized in Indianapolis, and his medical status has been upgraded to stable. The 2-year-old no longer requires a ventilator and is beginning to respond.           Tyler Roahrig learns to walk before he runs

           Tyler Roahrig had an accident in practice at Anderson Speedway in April.  Doctors told him he wouldn't be able to walk until August.  Tuesday at his shop in Inwood, FOX 28 talked to him and saw the progress that he had made during the summer.  He hasn't been able to race, but the wreck hasn't taken away any of his enthusiasm or love for racing.

           On April 25th, Tyler Roahrig had an accident no racer wants to experience.  We talked to him on May 7th when he was in the hospital and he told us he wouldn't be racing this year and he likely wouldn't be able to walk until August.  Tuesday he talked about the journey of getting back on his feet.  It's been a long summer not being able to race, but it hasn't taken away his love for being at the track or his desire to run in the future.
