Katy Wilkinson Harris came home Monday to prepare for the LPGA Symetra Tour event that will be played at Blackthorn Friday through Sunday in South Bend.  It's the tours highest paying event of the year.  The 2 time Indiana State Champ and Indiana Amatuer Champ played golf at LSU before taking 9 years off because of an injury.  Now she's back and bringing back fond memories of her days growing up at Morris Park Country Club and the area courses in South Bend. Lakeshore Softball Falls in the Quarterfinals

The Lakeshore softball team lost to Techumseh 5-1 Tuesday at Battle Creek in the Division 2 Quarterfinals.  The Lancers gave up a run in the 2nd, one in the 4th and 3 in the 6th.  Lakeshore ends the year 36-6.  Denny Dock was disappointed in the loss and he said the team could have won the game in the first inning.  They left runners at the corners after Techumseh's pitcher Rachel Maves struck out the side.
