GREENWOOD, Ind. (AP) - The family of a Greenwood boy is confirming he's missing at a waterfall in Switzerland.
The family of Noah Kriese has released a statement saying the 12-year-old disappeared Friday while on a hike at Truemmelbach Falls, about 30 miles southeast of the Swiss capital, Bern.
The family says Noah was visiting the area with his mother and her family. A statement read by a family friend also says the boy's father also is in the area of the waterfall helping with search efforts.
The statement says the family has no confirmation of Noah's whereabouts but is hoping for the best.
Swiss police broke off their search for the boy today.
Greenwood is 10 miles south of Indianapolis.
