Police release details in Stevensville homicide

Police are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a man in Stevensville.

Around 11:30 pm Monday night police responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of Leonora Drive.  They found Bobby Masters, 34, dead.

Masters was shot by Leonard Brown, 46, during a domestic dispute.  Both men lived at the home where shooting happened, along with Brown's wife and three children ages 12, 14, and 16.  Masters was the former husband of Mrs. Brown and father of one of the children.

According to a police report, there was an argument between the two men in the front yard of the residence with Masters being locked outside by Brown.  Masters then forced his way in through a back door, and was threatening to kill Brown.  Brown had armed himself with a gun and he was chased upstairs by Masters.

Brown then shot Masters twice, which killed him.

So far, no arrests have been made in this case.
