They say it's a life saving program that could help more people.
Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller was in South Bend today talking about the state's Address Confidentiality Program.
It's a program designed to be an extra layer of protection for victims of domestic violence or stalking.
Last year, 51 people in Indiana died as a result of domestic violence and they're trying to make more people aware that this program exists.
Greg Zoeller, Indiana's Attorney General says,
"The fact that you can maintain a confidential address while you still have children in school, while you still conduct the rest of your life, the fact that our office ends up being your P.O. box so that you can hide your address from a stalker or the like, I think it's really a life saving program."The key component of being eligible is having a protective order in place.
If you do, you can sit down with a victims advocate to see if you qualify.
