LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Cold case investigators have arrested and charged four people in the 1998 death of a woman in the South Haven area. Deborah Boothby was killed in Van Buren County. The state attorney general's office says state and Covert Township police who reopened the case found she was beaten by the suspects and run over with vehicles to stage a hit-and-run. South Haven residents Ivory Shaver, Shevolier Gill and Scottie Shaver were arrested Monday. Also arrested was Ed Foster of Conyers, Ga. He's awaiting extradition from Indiana. Adrienne Burnette of South Haven admitted participating in Boothby's killing and pleaded guilty last week to second-degree murder in exchange for testifying against the others.
