INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana sportsmen will join economics and wildlife experts for a panel discussion of what climate change could mean for the state's wildlife and natural resources.
Monday's gathering at the Indianapolis Zoo will also touch on the climate bill now before Congress that would reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Speakers will include Indiana Wildlife Federation executive director John Goss and University of Notre Dame economics professor Richard Jensen.
The two-hour roundtable will focus on identifying ways to safeguard Indiana's wildlife and natural resources from climate change. Organizers say that's important to keeping Indiana's tourism and outdoor recreation industries thriving.
