
Complications from the H1N1 flu are responsible for the death of another Elkhart County resident.
Officials with the Elkhart County Health Department officials confirmed that the patient died from H1N1 flu-related complications, will not be releasing any other information about the individual for confidentiality reasons.
The vaccine supplies for H1N1 are being given out as quickly as they come. As information on the vaccine becomes available, the Indiana State Department of Health will post that information at: www.in.gov/flu.
The Indiana State Department of Health is offering a toll-free hotline for the public to call for information on the H1N1 flu and its vaccine at: 1-877-826-0011 or TTY 1-888-561-0044. It is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday-Friday.
