Police are investigating a shooting at a Mishawaka apartment complex.
Mishawaka police say Joseph Waithira drove with his girlfriend to the Autumn Lakes Apartment Complex to pick up her three children at her ex-husband's home around 8:15 Sunday morning.
Waithira and the ex-husband got into an argument. Police say Waithira allegedly shot the ex-husband in his leg.
Waithira took off with his girlfriend in the car, but the two started arguing. Waithira allegedly hit the women and fled to a nearby gas station where he was arrested.
The ex-husband who was shot was treated and released from the hospital with minor injuries.
