Threat brings deputies to Concord High School


Parents and students who showed up at Concord High School Monday morning found Elkhart County deputies patrolling the area because of a bomb threat. 

According to the Superintendent, the threat indicated there would be an explosive device to go off at the school Monday.  Parents were notified Friday of the threat.  The threat was made Friday. 

The school and stadium were searched over the weekend and early Monday morning.  No devices were found.  Elkhart Sheriff's deputies are now  investigating the threat.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department, a handwritten note was found in a bathroom in the school, stating a bomb threat.  The note was found shortly before three Friday afternoon.
