Crews battled a large house fire in Granger Thursday. The fire on the 15000 block of Fairbanks Ct. in the Quail Valley Subdivision required multiple crews to put out.
The family, including a mother, her three daughters and four dogs, all got out safely. We spoke to two of the daughters. They say they believe the fire started in the basement, most likely the furnace.
The home mostly suffered smoke damage, but crews had to break all the windows to clear the smoke.
