St. Joe had a 1-0 lead on #1 Marian in the 3A Softball Sectional Championship. That's when the Knights scored 5 runs in the 4th to take the commanding lead. It seemed like it was over to everyone but St. Joe. The Indians came back and won the Sectional Championship 7-6. More>>
Fairfield hit 2 home runs in the 4th inning to take a 3-0 lead on Lakeland. The Falcons hit another home run off Senior Ashlyn Grubb and won the 3A Sectional Championship 5-4. More>>
The Whirlpool Corporation employees have been donating their time and energy for 20 years with a golf outing for Harbor Habitat for Humanity. The fundraiser is closing in on $1 Million. Berrien Hills Country Club in Benton Harbor is the host course for the event. More>>

Marian beat Glenn 8-2, Clay knocked off Mishawaka 9-2 and Riley beat Penn 10-6 at the high school Sectional Semi-Final Wednesday night. Clay and Riley will meet Saturday in the Championship at 1 because Clay has their prom Friday night. More>>
Northridge is going to the Sectional Championship behind the arm of Haley Nixon and clutch hitting of Hannay Kistler. Nixon threw a 2 hit shutout Wednesday night while Kistler had the game winning RBI in the 4th inning. The Raiders beat Elkhart Central 7-0. They will play Concord in the Championship Friday night. Michelle Adeniyi from Clay, Anna Rohrer from Mishawaka, Ayiana Gaines from Riley and Amanda Farrough from Clay all won and advanced to State at the Warsaw Regional. Adeniyi was a 3 time winner in the 100, 200 and high jump. More>>
Bremen's Softball team was ranked #6 and had a record of 21-3. Prairie Heights was 12-17. The Lions led 3-0 going into the 7th, but PH tied the game in that inning and then took a 6-3 lead into the 10th inning. Bremen battled back and believed they could win as Emily Molden capped off their comeback with a hit in the bottom of the 10th. Bremen wins 7-6 and will now play LaVille who beat Fremont 13-11 in 8 innings. More>>
Ara Parseghian turned 90 years old Tuesday. He was the Notre Dame football coach from 1964 until 1974. He and the Irish won 2 National Championships and he is now in the College Football Hall of Fame. More>>
Notre Dame basketball coach Muffet McGraw treated her husband Matt with a round of golf at Augusta in April. The McGraws will be on the FOX 28 Golf Challenge Wednesday night. More>>
Muffet McGraw told FOX 28's Allison Hayes that the Notre Dame basketball team will be playing in London and Spain. She said the team will be looking for leaders to step up with the departure of Skylar Diggins. She joked that she's glad Diggins didn't get the Mercedes SUV from her agent during the season. Bobby Stremme gave Mike Wortinger over $5,000 this weekend. The money was raised from advertising spots on his car. Racers have gotten together and shaved their heads for the driver who was injured in a racing accident at New Prairie on May 11th. So far, more than $17,000 has been raised for Wortinger. More>>
