NSC teams will join the Northern Indiana Conference

Last August FOX 28 broke the story that the Northern State Conference would be dissolving and 4 teams would be looking for a new home. Wednesday night, Bremen, Glenn, Jimtown and New Prairie have found their league. The four remaining teams will join the big boys of the Northern Indiana Conference for the 2015-16 season. Brey: Grant still plans to return to ND

After being suspended from Notre Dame in January, there was some concern whether or not shooting guard Jerian Grant would in fact return to campus or forgo his eligibility and enter the NBA draft. The Notre Dame football team got verbal commitment #7 from Cary-Grove, IL recruit Trevor Ruhland. According to Irish Sports Daily, he tips the scale at 270 and stands 6'4". He chose the Irish over Duke, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska and Purdue. Ruhland is considered a 3-Star recruit by many services. More>>

Northridge Teacher Finishes 60th at Boston Video included

Andy Williams agreed that it was a perfect storm for him Monday at the Boston Marathon. The Northridge Middle School health teacher ran a personal best at the Boston Marathon in 2:26:38. The effort was good for 60th place out of more than 36,000 runners. It was also the 2nd best time for an Indiana runner. In 2013, Williams was 68th. ND winningest seniors say good-bye to fans Video included

The Irish Women's Basketball Banquet was one last chance for Notre Dame's winningest senior class in school history to say goodbye to the fans that have cheered them on these past four years.     Zimmer is buying Biomet in a $13.35 billion deal that will merge the two Warsaw-based medical device firms.
