    The Karner Blue Butterfly has a wingspan of about an inch, feed only on the leaves of the wild lupine plant and are an endangered species.So officials at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and the Indiana Dunes State Park are doing what they can to help the butterfly.Theyare in the processofrestoring a black oak savanna they share this summer to save the homes of thebutterfly and other native species.     Two construction workers were killed in an early morning accident.Indiana Sate Police say a pickup truck crashed in the Southbound lanesof anInterstate 69 construction zone on the northeast side of Indianapolis.Morning traffic was backed up for more than a mile.State highway department spokesman Nathan Riggssays the workers were employedwho by a contractor doing overnight paving work and were removing lane restrictions when the crash happened.     SALT LAKE CITY – An Ogden woman has been deported to El Salvador after allegedly orchestrating the Feb. 2013 murder of her husband. Nuri Liseth Aquino-Torres (Brown), 28, was deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). Aquino-Torres was turned over to Salvadoran authorities as a part of an Interpol red notice. The notice was issued as a result of a fugitive arrest warrant issued in January by a Salvadoran court.More >>

     A pair of top 20 Indiana High School Soccer teams were going at it Wednesday at Northridge.
    Mishawaka Marian got off to a hot start as Senior Denise Veldman scores this beautiful goal from about 20 yards out.  The goalie just didn't have a chance.  So leading 1-0 late in the first half.  Veldman is at the right place at the right time.  She may not get an easier goal this season.  The Knights led 2-0 and went on to win 3-2.
