    South Bend Police are reporting of a shooting at the 2400 block of W. Fredrickson Street. The police say no one was shot but shots were fired. The incident is under investigation.      Mishawaka Senior to be Anna Rohrer was honored tonight by the Mishawaka town council for winning another state and national championship.  She was joined by the 800 state champ, freshman Ashleigh Macleod from Penn.  Anna Rohrer said,  "It's really nice to know that no matter where I'm competing that I'm not alone, that all over the place people are watching.  Especially in Mishawaka."

    A man called the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department this morning fearing a suspicious package was a bomb. He described the package as having a battery pack and a blinking red light lying on his desk at his place job at the MSC Industrial Supply distribution center in Elkhart. The employee was concerned about the item and took it outside and threw it in a ditch on the north side of the business. Officers arrived and evacuated the immediate area as a precautionary measure.More >>
