    Police received a call early this morning of a man asking for rides, then yelling obscenities and punching the hood of a car after no getting the ride. Police then check the 300 Block Park Street area for the subject and saw a man exit JJ's Sideout Bar. He then asked police if they were looking for a suspicious man.He then told police the man they were looking for was standing on the sidewalk.     UPDATE: The Cass County Sheriff's Office reports Charles Rusher has been found safe in White Pigeon, MI. Police say they received a call shortly after 8:20am Thursday morning. A homeowner in White Pigeon reportedly found that Rusher had broken into their home during the night and fallen asleep on a couch. The homeowner is not pressing charges, and said Rusher was extremely disoriented and could not recall how he gotten there.More >>

     Notre Dame football began in 1887. Going into their 127th year of playing, they've been on artificial turf, field turf and even astro turf.  But never at home. To some, it would be like Knute Rockne wearing a wig.  For others, it's long overdue.  The announcement to eliminate real grass came at the Blue Gold game in April.  Monday was the first time we got to see the fake stuff in the Stadium.
