    Marian beats Northridge soccer girls

A pair of top 20 Indiana High School Soccer teams were going at it Wednesday at Northridge.
Mishawaka Marian got off to a hot start as Senior Denise Veldman scores this beautiful goal from about 20 yards out.  The goalie just didn't have a chance.  So leading 1-0 late in the first half.  Veldman is at the right place at the right time.  She may not get an easier goal this season.  The Knights led 2-0 and went on to win 3-2.
