    Are kids and gun ranges a safe combination?

    In Indiana, there's no age restriction on who can shoot at a gun range. It's up to individual ranges to decide. One Michiana range says the incident in which a nine year old girl accidentally shot and killed her gun range instructor in Arizona has reminded them to reexamine their practices to make sure they're operating in the safest way possible. At Midwest Gun and Range, retail manager, Rocco Rigsby, says they leave it up to parents to decide when kids are ready to hit the range.More >>

    Tyler Roahrig learns to walk before he runs

     Tyler Roahrig had an accident in practice at Anderson Speedway in April.  Doctors told him he wouldn't be able to walk until August.  Tuesday at his shop in Inwood, FOX 28 talked to him and saw the progress that he had made during the summer.  He hasn't been able to race, but the wreck hasn't taken away any of his enthusiasm or love for racing.

     On April 25th, Tyler Roahrig had an accident no racer wants to experience.  We talked to him on May 7th when he was in the hospital and he told us he wouldn't be racing this year and he likely wouldn't be able to walk until August.  Tuesday he talked about the journey of getting back on his feet.  It's been a long summer not being able to race, but it hasn't taken away his love for being at the track or his desire to run in the future.
