    The trial date for Purvi Patel has been pushed back a fifth time.The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office had their motion to add a charge of feticide approved by Judge Hurley on Tuesday. In response, Patel's defense motioned for a continuance to allow time to prepare for the new charges. That motion was granted, and on Friday the new trial was scheduled for Jan. 22. Patel is next due in court in December for her record date.More >>

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -FOX59 in Indianapolis is reporting a student died at the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority house on IU's campus Thursday night. According to IU spokesman Mark Land a student was found dead at the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority house around 8 p.m. Foul play is not suspected. The sorority is located at 1020 N. Jordan Ave. IU is in the process of notifying the student's parents.More >>

    Car driver reportedly "did not see" moped in fatal Elkhart County crash

    The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department is investigating a Friday morning accident that killed a moped driver. Police say the accident happened just after 5:30am on the 14000 block of County Rd. 38. The accident was a collision between a 1994 Buick Regal and a black Tomos Nitro Scooter. Both vehicles were traveling westbound on County Rd. 35. The driver of the Buick told police he did not see the moped as he came up on it from behind, and could not stop in time when he noticed it.More >>
