    Jessica Wheeler is a Spokesperson for Allegiant Air, one airline that flies out of South Bend International Airport. She says, despite the large number of recent tragedies, they haven't seen any downward trend in the number of people flying with them."July is one of our busiest travel months for the year. Many people take their summer vacation in July so a lot of travelers heading out and we have not seen any significant change this year," Wheeler said.More >>

     Notre Dame football began in 1887. Going into their 127th year of playing, they've been on artificial turf, field turf and even astro turf.  But never at home. To some, it would be like Knute Rockne wearing a wig.  For others, it's long overdue.  The announcement to eliminate real grass came at the Blue Gold game in April.  Monday was the first time we got to see the fake stuff in the Stadium.
