Goshen College basketball player Errick McCollum was on the brink of history. The senior was just 23 points away from breaking the all-time scoring record. He needed to surpass 2,277 points.
McCollum would have to do it against 10th ranked Saint Xavier.
McCollum scored just 7 points in the first half, but he exploded in the second half. McCollum scored 17 points in the second half to break the Goshen College all-time scoring mark. He finished with 24 and has 2,279 for his career.
