Dutchmen RV announced Wednesday it's hiring 50 new employees.
The company's president Don Clark said they're releasing upgrades to a couple of their RV models.
With those upgrades and the expected turn in the economy, the company expects sales to grow. Even though it's an odd time to hire because RV manufacturing typically slows down in the winter; currently, they're seeing more consumer confidence and they want to be ready for the spring.
Clark said, "We have a healthy backlog in orders from dealers now, but we expect an up tick in the economy and in our business. Plus with the new production lines coming out, we feel confident that need for our products will increase."
The majority of the employees will work at the Goshen facility.
