Tyler Allman Fundraiser - Fox 28: South Bend, Elkhart IN News, Weather, Sports

Tyler Allman Fundraiser

Posted:

Tyler Allman is 8 years old and is in the second grade at Hums Elementary in Mishawaka. Tyler was recently diagnosed with Batten's Disease, a rare fatal genetic neurological disorder. Batten's causes seizures, blindness, fine/gross motor skill loss, as well as behavioral and personality changes and sadly ends in death.

This event is open to the public, and anyone is welcome to bring family and friends to show support to Tyler and his family and to help them raise awareness for Batten's Disease. Proceeds will be given to the Allman family: Royer & Heather (Hans) Allman and their two sons Tyler and Ryan to help assist them with Tyler's medical bills, travel expenses, etc.

Thanks to generous donors, they have already received a wide variety of items for the Silent and Live Auction and are hoping for many more. The items they have already received include: Signed Sports memorabilia, Blackhawks & Bulls tickets, kids toys, gift cards, gift baskets, photography sessions, artwork, and many more.

For more information, please contact Christy Burnstine at (574) 596-
