Make 3 about pies :
3 Cups Water
2 ¼ Cups Sugar
1/3 Cup Cherry Jell-O
1 ½ teaspoon Almond flavoring
2 Cups Cherries (frozen or Fresh)
1 Cup Water
1 ¼ Cup Perma flo
¼ Cup Butter
9 Cups Cherries (Frozen or Fresh)
1. Combine 3 cups Water, 2 ¼ cup Sugar, 1/3 cup Jell-O, pinch of salt,1 ½ teaspoon Almond Flavoring, and 2 cups Cherries in Sauce pan and heat till boiling.
2. In a separate bowl combine 1 cup Water with 1 ¼ cup Perma - Flo till dissolved and add to the Sauce pan when mixture boils and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
3. Remove Sauce pan from heat and add ¼ cup Butter and 9 cups of Cherries to mixture. Fill pie crusts evenly with mixture.
Rise N Roll Pie Crusts
13 Cups New Rinkel Flour
3 ½ Cups Lard
1 Tablespoon Salt
Combine above ingredients to make fine crumbs.
For about 4 Pies:
9 Cups of Crumbs
1 ½ plus 2 Tablespoons Water
Mix together till soft dough forms, divide into 8 balls and roll out on floured surface. Place in pie pans. Fill with desired fruit filling and top with 2nd crust. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes then lower oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 20 -25 minutes till golden brown.
