Tarwacki Scholarship Fund established


Friends of a murdered Niles area woman are trying to set up a scholarship fund in her name.

The Niles High School class of 1989 and friends of Carolyn Tarwacki are trying to establish a scholarship in Carolyn Tarwacki's name at Southwestern Michigan College.  Tarwacki and her husband John were killed in their home near Niles February 5th.  Police are still hunting for the killer.

A Niles High School classmate of Carolyn Tarwacki says some donations have already been received for the scholarship fund.  Carolyn Tarwacki graduated from Niles High School in 1989 as Carolyn McKnight.

Angela Carrico of Southwestern Michigan College says Carolyn Tarwacki was an active member of the Dowagiac Community Brass Band.
