Two Kosciusko juveniles are now charged as adults in the suspected murder of one of the boys' stepfather.
15 year old Colt Lundy and 12 year old Paul Gingerich were both in court Friday morning in Warsaw to officially face charges as adults. Police say both boys fired 2 shots, killing 49-year-old Phillip Danner on April 20th.
Their next court appearance is set for June 3rd. A trial date will be set at a later hearing.
A judge ruled Thursday that the boys -- ages 15 and 12 -- would be tried for murder as adults. Neighbors and family members who testified at Thursday's hearing said the boys hadn't shown any signs of violence before Danner's slaying last week.
But Sheriff's Detective Jonathan Tyler said the boys had plotted for at least a month to kill Danner.
