Steeler Sticky Finger Sandwiches (Cuban Style finger sandwiches)
1 lb deli ham sliced thin
1 lb Sweet cured deli ham or Virginia Baked Ham Sliced Thin
1/2 lb Swiss cheese sliced thin
Garlic powder to taste (pinch) this is optional
Cajun Seasoning to taste (pinch) this is optional
4 oz melted butter
1 loaf of sour dough bread
1 jar sliced dill pickles,
1 jar yellow mustard (Dijon or honey Dijon is a acceptable option)
Take deli ham and sprinkle with garlic powder and Cajun seasoning if desired on put to side . on first piece of bread spread mustard , then lay out pickles, then stack over 2 oz cured ham the 2 oz deli ham . then layer Swiss on top piece of bread spread mustard and close. In a skillet heat small amount of butter to grill, place sandwich in skill press down on sandwich with a spatula, then when bottom bread is golden brown flip and cook till top bread is golden brown. Remove and slice into either 4 cuts or into six cut if desired . best to serve warm.
