The Notre Dame women weren't the only ones playing hoops Tuesday night.
The IU-South Bend men's team took on the River City Rollers, a team of disabled wheelchair basketball players. The event was sponsored by the school's Union of Students with Disabilities.
The Rollers won 22-10, but there was a larger lesson here.
"Just because you're disabled doesn't mean you can't do things," said Tim Myhlhousen, the president of IU-South Bend's Union of Students with Disabilities. "We can do a majority of things any other person that doesn't have a disability [can]. We just might have to do it in a different way."
In the second game, the Rollers beat IU-South Bend faculty and staff 24-8.
