One person was injured after a truck crashed into his car on US-6 Thursday morning.
Elkhart County Police say a semi-truck driven by Cirilo Corral of Chicago was heading west on US-6 near County Road 15 when the driver came upon a slow down in traffic caused by construction. He could not stop in time and swerved into the eastbound lane, hitting a Ford Taurus driven by Jay Stricler of Marion, IN.
Stricler of the car was airlifted to an area hospital with a deep laceration to his head. There is no word yet on the Stricler's current condition.
