Amanda Fay joined the FOX28 News team in June 2011. You may know her as Amanda Tetlak. Amanda got married in August, 2013. She may have a new name, but she's just as excited to deliver the news to the people of Michiana.
Amanda comes to FOX28 after spending four years anchoring and reporting in Bismarck, North Dakota,
Amanda may now be used to cold weather, but she grew up in sunny Florida. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Radio-Television Broadcasting and a minor in Political Science. After graduation, Amanda worked as a writer for WFTV in Orlando before starting her on-air career in Bismarck.
In Bismarck, Amanda anchored the weekday nightly newscast and reported on politics, among other major events happening in western North Dakota. There, Amanda was part of an Emmy Award-Winning newscast and won an Eric Sevareid award in public affairs reporting for KFYR-TV's series and documentary on Senator Byron Dorgan.
Amanda enjoys exploring Michiana and reporting the stories that matter to you. When Amanda isn't working, she enjoys exercising, wine-tasting along the shores of Lake Michigan and spending time with her husband and friends.
