Verizon Wireless says it will launch its 4G LTE network in Northern Indiana on October 20.
The company says the 4G network will cover South Bend, Mishawaka, Granger, Elkhart and Goshen. Verizon launched 4G coverage at Notre Dame in September.
Verizon says the 4G network will offer network speeds up to 10 times faster than the current 3G network.
Verizon's map shows 4G service has already launched in the Chicago, Indianapolis, Battle Creek-Kalamazoo and Fort Wayne areas.
