A Goshen College professor was killed after being attacked during a home invasion early Sunday morning.
The Goshen Police Department says 58-year-old Goshen College biology professor James Miller was killed in the attack and his wife Linda was struck with an object and suffered serious injuries.
Police say Linda Miller called police to report the attack by a white male in their home. The attacker had fled by the time officers arrived.
James Miller taught biology. Goshen College President James Brenneman says a vigil was planned for Sunday night on the campus.
