Michiana Social Security workers are worried Uncle Sam is going to cut their budget for 2012. If passed, the cuts would mean fewer offices, fewer staff, and more furlough days.
On Thursday, they picketed outside an Elkhart Social Security office to make their point heard, and they want you to help.
"We want them to call their Congressman, their Senator, and let them know they are against the new changes that are about to take place," said Social Security Claims Rep. Orlando Torres.
The employees were joined by their union reps for the American Federation of Government Employees.
