Ohio State has introduced Urban Meyer as the new head coach of the Buckeyes.
Meyer has signed a six-year deal worth up to $6.4 million in Columbus.
He was the head coach at Bowling Green, Utah and Florida where he won two National Championships.
He was the wide receivers coach at Notre Dame from 1996-2000 and had said more than once that Notre Dame was his "dream job."
There has been speculation that Notre Dame running backs coach Tim Hinton could join Meyer's staff. Hinton replaced Meyer as a graduate assistant at Ohio State in the mid-80's when Meyer was promoted to tight ends coach.
Interim coach Luke Fickell will remain on Meyer's staff and lead the Buckeyes in a their bowl game.
