Anonymous donor gives food to every student at Woodland Elementary

A secret Santa is making the holiday a lot brighter for the kids at Woodland Elementary in Elkhart.  This Santa didn't donate toys, but something much more helpful food.

They donated 440 bags of food, and every student in the building will take home one bag which holds enough food for one week. 

A surprising 92% of Woodland's students are eligible for free or reduced breakfast and lunch.  The schools principal says many of them don't look forward to break because they don't know where those two meals a day are coming from.

"At first, when I heard of this, I thought maybe they wanted to help a family or maybe best case scenario, they wanted to help a whole classroom," said Principal John Payne.  "When this person says they wanted to give food to every child in our building for the upcoming holiday break, it was quite a blessing, to say the least."

Payne says the donation has instilled a pay it forward attitude at the school.
