UPDATE: Berrien County Courthouse evacuated for cookie

St. Joseph Police say a "suspicious package" at the Berrien County Courthouse turned out to be a cookie.

The Courthouse was evacuated shortly before 11:30am after the package was found inside.

Firefighters and the Berrien County Bomb Squad were called in to investigate. St. Joseph Police say the package turned out to be a single chocolate chip cookie.

The building has reopened.
