When you're in Indiana, and you want to make some money for charity, why not make it while playing basketball.
Madison Elementary School hosted Northwood and Grissom in a match-up where the real winner wasn't even on the court Monday.
They were playing to raise money for Riley Hospital for Children. The event took place at the school's gym that was built back in 1939.
The principal is pretty proud of the place! "Whenever I try to describe it, I say, "Think of Hoosiers.' It's right out of the movie classic, built-in bleachers, a lot of history, " says Principal Randy Williams.
We're happy to report the event helped raise over $2,000 for the children at Riley's.
