It was a special night at Northridge, where the Middlebury and Syracuse communities came together in support of 13 year old Sam Grewe.
Sam is battling a form of bone cancer. As you'll see, the Raiders will do anything to put a smile on his face.
The bald and the beautiful, that's definitely the theme out there Saturday night. They were offering buzz cuts for the boys and yellow feathers for the girls as part of the "Yellow Out" in his honor. Yellow is the color representing Sam's form of cancer and fans from both communities were wearing it in his honor.
He also picked 3 people he'd like to see get a shave. Whoever raised the most money would say goodbye to their hair.
More than $21,000 were raised and while Sam is a little too shy to talk on camera, his parents say they are touched by the generosity.
