Super Bowl party raises money for local veterans

Watching the game and raising money for a good cause.  Veterans Post 360 in Mishawaka held a Supper Bowl party for the Super Bowl Sunday night.

For eight dollars attendees could enjoy a smorgasbord of food and watch the game.  The cover charge goes towards supporting local veterans.  Robert Olando with the VFW Post 360 said,  "We have a lot of World War two vets, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, active, male and female and some of the assistance in this area just can't help them it goes to Fort Wayne so we try to help them out locally as much as we can."

The money can help local veterans pay heating bills, phone bills, and more.

The Veterans post also held a Super Bowl brunch Sunday morning and raised over $300 for local veterans.
