There is an important recall you should know about involving the restraint system installed in seats made by Britax.
If you did not register your child with the company, then you might not know about this recall.
Britax is in the process of sending out notices to parents who have the "Chaperone" car seat.
The company says the harness adjuster on the seat could detach from the seat shell causing your child to be at greater risk of injury during a crash.
Parents who are worried about their child's seat can schedule an appointment with Elkhart County Health Department's fitting station.
All seats can be examined and properly installed.
