It will cost more to attend the University of Notre Dame during the 2012-2013 academic year.
Notre Dame says tuition will increase 3.8% to $42,971. The University says the rate of increase matches that of the previous two years.
Average room and board will cost $11,934, bringing the total cost to $54,905.
Notre Dame says in a letter to parents and guardians, Notre Dame President, Rev. John Jenkins, wrote the University remains concerned about the economy and has worked hard to increase operational efficiencies.
