A Mishawaka man was arrested early Saturday morning for leading officers on a 45 minute chase.
It started around 11:15 Friday night on the 600 block of Main street.
Police were called there to investigate the suspect, Charles Dausman, attempting to break into his ex-girlfriend's residence.
Dausman left the scene as officers arrived and they attempted to pull him over, but he refused to stop.
He lead police east throughout Mishawaka.
He finally stopped at West 6th Street and Wells around midnight.
Dausman was arrested for a number of violations including resisting officers and drunk driving.
