Taking one for the team and for the community.
That's what DCS employees were doing at a charity basketball game tonight.
Department of Child Services staff members took to the hardwood to raise money and canned goods for the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
This is the second year they've done this. They say they're passionate about helping community members who really need it.
"I think it's a good moral booster for our staff to get involveed in the community. They raised, I think, last year, we came in 2nd place in the state as far as our county."
The event was held at St. Anthony's Parish Gym.
