Three hospitalized after Osceola accident

Three people were taken to the hospital after a motorcycle struck a car in Osceola Sunday.

It happened around 4:00  near the corner of Lincolnway West and Grand Boulevard. Police say the car was trying to turn north on Grand when the two collided. 40-year-old Scott Himes was driving the motorcycle with his 49-year-old wife Amy.

They were both thrown from the motorcycle and rushed to the hospital for head injuries. We're told Scott is in stable condition and Amy is in critical condition. Police say neither were wearing helmets at the time.

54-year-old Tammy Balentine was driving the car. She was treated at a local hospital for an arm injury.
