Learning about the life cycle might not sounds like a lot of fun. Unless learning about the life cycle means keeping duck eggs in class and watching them hatch.
Second graders in Shelly Sparrow's class at Twin Branch Elementary school have been patiently waiting for 5 ducklings to hatch, and their first arrival came Tuesday morning, just before 8 o'clock.
Mrs. Sparrow says that when learning is exciting, it is also memorable.
The other ducks are expected to hatch today too. Just in case they make their entrance to the world after school hours, a webcam is set up and pointed directly at the incubator.
