Kids in Elkhart are about to have a new way to enjoy the outdoors.
We're talking about a brand new Park and Garden!
The WOW project is an after-school program run by the Central Christian Church.
They raised just enough money to build a park right behind the church.
It's located in Elkhart's inner-city West Central Neighborhood.
There is a big need for a park in the area.
It will help teach kids about healthy exercise and eating well.
"At the same time keeping the kids out of the hands of some of the poorer elements that are in this neighborhood," said Jim Piechorowski. "The pushers and the gangs and such that don't get them down the right path.
The church is looking for your help.
They need volunteers to help build the park during the first weekend in June.
