Memorial Day weekend is pretty much synonymous with the opening of area pools and this year is no different! They are getting ready!
Shanklin Pool in Goshen says they've been working non-stop for about 2 weeks now cleaning and getting things up and running.
Their official open is on Saturday from 12-7. Some other pools are waiting to open until Monday.
But with 80's and even 90's predicted this weekend, they're expecting big crowds and are excited to get the season started.
Brooke Casteel, Pool Director of Shanklin Pool says, "It is, we usually have a good group of staff that work here and getting all the day camps coming in and seeing a lot of the new faces that usually come during the summer, so it's a lot of fun."
