Goshen
Police have arrested two 17-year-olds for a Sunday armed robbery of a gas
station. Police say the arrests came during the investigation of a Tuesday shooting
incident involving one of the 17-year-olds.
On Tuesday
afternoon, police say they responded to a shooting at a home in the 1800-block
of College Manor Drive
in Goshen.
Officers say the 17-year-old shot himself in the left foot with a
pistol-gripped, sawed-off shotgun. He
was taken to a hospital for treatment.
During the investigation,
police say they determined the 17-year-old had been involved in the armed
robbery of the BP gas station on North
Main Street. Police say the investigation also led
to the arrest of a second 17-year-old.
Both
17-year-olds are being held on preliminary charges of Armed Robbery with a
Deadly Weapon. Police say they teen shot in the foot is also facing a preliminary
charge of Possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
