Kids at Muessel Primary, in South Bend, were in for a huge treat at their Bikes for Books celebration.
If they reach their quarterly reading goals, they earn a ticket for a drawing for a free bike. Teachers say the students work toward and look forward to this day all year.
In all, the school gave away 10 bikes, two for each grade level.
Community members, school supporters, and even local businesses help them out by donating bikes.
