About 8 thousand people are expected to participate in the 2012 Sunburst races in downtown South Bend.
On Friday, they were at the College Football hall of Fame to pick up their race day packets.
There are several races, including the marathon, a 5K run and a 5K fitness walk. That means families who came together may not be finishing on time. So how do they find eachother once they reach the finish line?
"We're actually finishing in the Notre Dame football stadium again and so we're excited about that. And we'll have shuttles that bring them back to the downtown area," says Alan Loyd with Memorial Hospital.
Parking will likely be a little tricky, so organizers want to remind folks that the garages are open.

Loyd says economic impact studies show three-quarter of a million dollars comes in from the event.
