Corrections officer arrested

An Indiana Department of Corrections officer found herself on the other side of the bars.

Thirty-eight year-old Tracey Young of Michigan City was arrested for smuggling drugs to prison inmates.

Young is a recreational director at the Indiana Department of Corrections Juvenile Facility in South Bend but had previously worked at the Michigan City State Prison until she was transferred.

Young is being held at the LaPorte county jail without bond.
